Chevy Celebrates 100 Years of Trucks
Chevy has been building the ultimate American pickup trucks for 100 years! These trucks are dependable and powerful, just like the drivers who rely on them. New 2018 Colorado and Silverado Centennial Special Editions
The Centennial Edition is available with the Colorado and Silverado 1500 models. It was created in partnership with Chevrolet Engineering, Design, and Marketing, with each division working to create a special commemorative trim. It not only offers unique stylistic features to highlight 100 years of Chevy, but the Centennial Edition also has the off-road capability associated with the Z71 trims. Perhaps most distinct is the Centennial Blue paint color, as well as the exclusive heritage bowie emblems and 100-year badges.
Chevrolet offers the Centennial Edition on their Silverado LTZ Z71 Crew Cab and the Colorado Z71 Crew/Extended cab. On both of these trucks, the Centennial Edition package adds a 100-year door badge, Body-Color rear bumper and front grille surround, Centennial Blue exterior paint, front/rear heritage bowtie emblems, floor liners with heritage bowtie emblems, chrome accessories, and spray-in bedliner with heritage bowtie emblem. The Silverado has 22-inch all-terrain tires and 22-inch painted wheels, and the Colorado is offered with 18-inch wheels with a monochromatic cap.
Introduction of the Chevy Truck Legends Program
The Chevy Truck Legends program was initially launched as a Texas-only perk in the Fall of 2016, but with the arrival of the 2018 truck lineup, Chevy is widening the availability of this program. The Truck Legends program is for customers who have purchased or leased more than one Chevy truck in their lifetime, or if they own a Chevy Truck that has over 100,000 miles. Becoming a part of this program enables customers to belong to an exclusive online community and provides access to unique branded merchandise. Customers are also included in deals provided by Chevy's partners, like the opportunity to sit front-row at a concert, see a sneak peek of new Chevy models, and even attend sold-out MLB events.
Branded Merchandise Featuring Chevy Heritage Bowtie
Fans of the Chevy brand are hardcore, and now they will have even more ways to show off their love of the iconic American truck brand. To celebrate 100 years of trucks, Chevy is introducing new special merchandise that proudly displays the Chevy heritage bowtie emblem. If you are a true Chevy enthusiast, you can purchase a special Centennial Edition bass boat from Phoenix Boats, or a Centennial Edition enclosed trailer from inTech Trailers. Both the bass boat and trailer feature the Centennial Blue paint color, along with special edition badging. In addition, the trailer measures in at 24 feet, making it perfect for hauling anything from recreational toys to cars.
